Tyler Levy

Tyler Levy is a Melbourne-based performer whose work is grounded in classical discipline, technical precision, and emotional athleticism. She trained extensively in ballet, completing the full Australian Conservatoire of Ballet curriculum at Glen Iris School of Dance through to the final examined Excellence level. This rigorous foundation established a strong technical vocabulary, refined body awareness, and disciplined approach to movement that continues to inform her work across multiple performance styles. Tyler has since expanded her training into contemporary and commercial dance through intensive programs with Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company and Sydney Dance Company, developing a dynamic, grounded physicality and a strong capacity for athletic performance. She holds a Diploma of Musical Theatre and is currently completing her Diploma of Professional Dance (Elite Performance) at Transit Dance under the direction of Andrew Hallswroth, Jack Chambers and Priscilla Cosentino, alongside ongoing vocal training with Tim Smith. A high-performance athlete and disciplined artist, Tyler approaches training and rehearsal with exceptional physical commitment, resilience, and stamina. Her additional fitness qualifications complement her performance training and enable her to meet the physical demands of intensive rehearsal and performance environments. She is particularly drawn to work that demands both technical excellence and genuine emotional vulnerability. Tyler is bilingual in English and Hebrew and has a strong command of Australian, General American, and Received Pronunciation (RP) accents, allowing her to approach a broad range of characters, repertoire, and performance styles with versatility. Above all, Tyler is committed to continual growth and professional excellence. She brings preparation, discipline, curiosity, and generosity into every room, with a willingness to be challenged, take direction, and push beyond her perceived limits. She thrives in environments that demand rigor, adaptability, and a fearless commitment to the work.
