Sally Harrop

Sally is a recent graduate of the Bachelor of Music Theatre at the Elder Conservatorium of Music (ECMT). During her training, she performed as Hedy LaRue in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (dir. Erin James), the Baker's Wife in Into the Woods (dir. Miranda Middleton), and Red Cross Nurse/Queen of Hearts in Alice by Heart (dir. Erin James). Prior to studying at ECMT, Sally completed her Diploma of Musical Theatre at WAAPA, where she played Janet Van De Graaff in The Drowsy Chaperone (dir.Tyler Jacob Jones). Professionally, Sally appeared in the 2024 production of Candide with State Theatre Company South Australia and State Opera South Australia. This year, she has also worked with Echelon Productions, filming educational content for The National Theatre for Children (NTC), and with Perform Education on the Time for Tech tour for National Science Week. In addition to her performing work, Sally works in children's educational entertainment and also holds a Certificate II in Retail Skincare & Makeup and a Certificate II in Hairdressing. With a strong appreciation for Australian writing, Sally had the privilege of performing at the Adelaide launch of Homegrown Musicals Australia and is passionate about bringing new Australian work to life.
