Ryjahn Del Re

A classically trained vocalist since 2015, with formal training running through to 2021, I bring both technical grounding and genuine warmth to every role I step into. My voice covers a wide female vocal range, and I am at my very best, and happiest, singing as a Soprano, where I can lean into rich, soaring top lines and clean, controlled tone and vibrato where required. Across my time on stage, I have moved comfortably between child and adult roles, bringing a bubbly, energetic, and endlessly curious presence to each character, whether that's a mischievous schoolgirl or a sharp-witted adult lead. I love the discipline of rehearsal as much as the thrill of a live audience, and I take real pride in being a dependable, well-prepared company member on and off stage. Matilda holds a special place in my heart actually as back in 2019 is where I met my first love of my life through rehearsals, who has sadly passed now, but he is such a fond memory for me that I will always hold close to me. I know the whole score by memory and love it so dearly, those were some of the best days of my life. To relive that again in my twenties would be a dream come true. After some time away from the stage, I'm looking to make my way back into the theatre world, it's something that has always stayed close to my heart. Even now, I still find myself singing at full volume in the car on the way home, missing the energy of rehearsal rooms and the buzz of opening night. I remain closely connected to a number of generous theatre and vocal mentors who continue to support, challenge, and champion my growth as a performer, and I am excited and ready to bring that experience back into a company.
