Matthew Jenson

I am a Sydney-based musical theatre performer with extensive professional experience across major Australian and international productions. My career has progressed from ensemble and swing roles into positions of responsibility including Dance Captain, Assistant Dance Captain and Fight Captain. My theatre credits include Anastasia, Chicago, La Cage aux Folles, Cinderella, West Side Story, Pippin, Aladdin, Hello, Dolly!, Singin’ in the Rain and Strictly Ballroom. I bring strong dance and movement skills, acrobatic ability, vocal experience and a thorough understanding of the discipline, adaptability and collaboration required within a professional company. Alongside performing, I am a performing arts director and lead a large team of teachers and creatives. This has strengthened my leadership, communication and problem-solving skills, while deepening my passion for supporting others and contributing positively to the rehearsal room and broader company.
