About
Hi! Thanks for taking the time to read about my story. I have performed in amateur musical theatre since I was 10. I have toured Europe in my teens and early 20s with BYTE Theatre Company. Whilst taking a year off after high school to get "life experience" I fell into the events industry. Through this I came to be part of the corporate and private events scene, eventually becoming an entertainment manger, designer and curator for large scale events, as well as performing, which I have now done since 2008. So the majority of my training as been either private tuition (I am a classically trained opera and musical theatre singer, as well as a burlesque artist/fan dancer/vaudevillian) or 'on the job'. I have had the pleasure of designing, stage managing, and performing in large scale musical theatre inspired opening numbers. I have toured Australia with my ex-partner as a vaudeville duo. I have returned to my love of musical theatre performing with Gilbert & Sullivan Opera Victoria and Diamond Valley Singers specifically. I have been nominated for a Lyrebird award for my performance singing "Poor Unfortunate Souls/I Put a Spell on you Duet" in 2025. I have a husband and two gorgeous daughters who are all incredibly supportive. My husband is a speech pathologist and I'm a singing teacher primarily, making our house very much a house of voice! I am proud to have taught burlesque and fan dance since 2019. And the vocal trio I started with my sisters in 2015 has now expanded into an incredible team that we now call "The Candy Cane Carolers". Until the last few years in musical theatre I was typically relegated to featured vocalist or featured dancer. But the past 4 years I have come into my own and am landing more lead and supporting roles, and absolutely loving owning them fully. I am excited to take on challenging roles and projects.
