About
Hello, I am an actor, musical theatre performer, singer-songwriter and voice-over artist, passionate about The Arts in all forms as well as languages and philosophy. I studied Performing Arts in the early ‘90s before joining Vis a Vis Theatre Company in Sydney and collaborating on group devised physical and musical theatre largely inspired by mythology and classical works. Some notable roles were the MC in Cabaret, Gertrude in Hamlet, Clytemnestra in Iphigenia in Aulis and Persephone in Do Dogs Dream of Angels. After a European tour in 2001, I moved to Paris where I lived and worked as a performer, translator and voice over artist for seven years and became fluent in French. On returning to Australia, I spent some years in the Outback where I taught myself to play the guitar and released an album of original folk music, Colour Shadow Light, in 2020. I returned to Sydney in 2025 and have been truly delighted to tread the boards once again. I played Paulina in the new original work, Omen: Shakespeare’s Women the Musical last September and began this year playing Ruth in Calendar Girls with Lane Cove Theatre Company. I have recently finished performing the lead role of Karla in another new Australian work, the world’s first sing and play along ukulele musical, Uked! with Bondi Theatre Company, and I cannot wait to get stuck into the next creative project.
