Johanna Lyon

Johanna Lyon is a Brisbane-based actor and cabaret performer with a flair for bold character-driven work. Rooted in physical performance and comedy, she brings a dynamic, high-energy presence to stage and screen, often leaning into roles that are quirky, chaotic or unexpectedly heartfelt. Her recent theatre credits include lead roles in Dance Nation and Charlie & The Bin Chicken, as well as original cabaret performances at Woodford Folk Festival and Adelaide Fringe. Highlights of her career in Musical Theatre include: 2 contracts with Cunard Cruise Line playing Mae in The Wild Party and developing new works with Hayes Theatre Company. Johanna’s work is defined by strong physicality, sharp comedic instincts and a love of transformative character work, making her a natural fit for projects that embrace humour, edge and individuality.
