Jo Jabalde

Lovingly fulfilling the stereotype, Jo Jabalde (they/them) comes from a proud Filipino family where music has been a constant part of their life. Naturally, (after failing through a year of business school) it made sense to pursue a career in the performing arts. They would go on to graduate from the Australian Institute of Music (AIM), with a Bachelor of Music (majoring in Music Theatre). Since then they’ve toured as Sandra in Neylon & Peele’s THE BEEP TEST, played multiple characters as well as themself in ZKM Productions meta-theatrical jaunt SMOTHER, and made their (short) film acting debut in Venus House Productions upcoming JAPANESE SLIPPER. Jo is most passionate about new - and especially local - works!
