Jessie De Aguiar

Hi there! I'm a professional creative, currently residing in Perth. I have been heavily involved with the arts since I was 8 years old, with my main passion falling in love with the world of Musical Theatre. I attended a gifted and talented specialty high school to develop my musical theatre skills, which was followed bystudying it full time as a Musical Theatre Major at Principal Academy. I have now built a successful entertainment company (WA Mermaids) ranging from underwater mermaid performance shows, to custom built theatrical experiences on a range of scales. I involve myself with every avenue of these productions, from writing, to directing, to set design, to puppet making, and every little thing inbetween. I thrive off adventure and love a challenge to build these skills, and create a product for audiences to take meaning from. I am passionate about creating for others, no matter the age or background. I pride myself on my high standards and want to provide only the very best experiences, memories, that bring people together, in any artistic way possible. While I spend most of my time behind the scenes creating and developing; I adore performing in all formats and reserve space for projects that I am particularly drawn to, and believe I can bring positive influence and collaboration towards.
