Eva Bacher

As a performer who started in ballet, I pride myself on being a dancer. One that has explored and experienced the many styles of dance. During my 11 years enrolled in the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Australia, I learnt the fundamentals of ballet from a junior level. As I progressed into the intermediate and senior territory, ballet grew from specified performances solely for exams into educational classes and rehearsals about the history of the dance style. Fortunately, in my senior years at RAD Australia, I experienced ballet influenced by traditional Hungarian folk dance and Flamenco. It were these two expanses of ballet that inspired me to switch to Music Theatre entirely. Though I only have 5 (and ongoing) years of experience as a trained Music Theatre individual, I constantly bring with me the discipline and technique learnt from my ballet days. Now I find myself in commercial jazz classes, tap classes, university for a Bachelor of Performing Arts (Acting), I continuously aim to inspire and entertain others as I continue my Music Theatre education into honing my skills as a young performer of Melbourne.
