Emily Higgins

My name is Emily Wynne Higgins, and I am a 19 year old gender fluid Australian performer based in Melbourne, Victoria. I have been training and performing amongst the Melbourne musical theatre and dance scene for majority of my life, training in classical ballet, jazz and hip hop from when I was 4, to then transitioning into singing and acting training also in high school. Since graduating high school in 2024 after being apart of 3 large scale Melbourne Girls' College musicals, I dove into community theatre as well full time training with Kelly Ayker's Full Time Dance school where I harness my skills in a variety of dance styles as well as consistent singing and acting classes. I believe my confidence in my comedy as well as my strive to change up the gender norms and generic casting in the industry sets me apart from other performers, as I believe it is highly important to allow the theatre space to be an open, inclusive and diverse one for all no matter who you are or how you identify.
