Ella Jaz Macrokanis is a versatile performer working across live music, theatre and screen. Her experience spans touring productions, major public events and large-scale arena performances, both onstage and behind the scenes. She received a Matilda Award nomination for her performance as Jerusha Abbott in Daddy Long Legs. Additional theatre credits include Head Over Heels, Kill Climate Deniers and Killer Queens. She is also a cabaret artist and co-creator of original works including It Takes a Lot Not to End Up Dead and Yours Sincerely, Banana Brain. Ella maintains a strong presence in live music, managing and performing her own acts for major events including the Bridge to Brisbane, the Olympics Green & Gold Runaway and the Queensland Great Awards at QAGOMA. In 2024 and 2025, Ella toured Japan with Talanton Theatre Company and continues to return as part of the production’s ongoing development.
