Ella Jackowski

Hello! My name is Ella Jackowski, I’m 23 & based in Northern NSW. Gaining my Diploma in Musical Theatre in Brisbane, I received my first professional contract shortly after to play the Bubbly dance/singing duo ‘Hip & Hop’ at Universal Studios Japan. Cannot express enough how comedic timing and bubbly-ness in performance comes as easy as drinking water to me, it’s my absolute favourite typecast and one I’m happy to fit so proudly in! At Universal I received many other opportunities to sing and perform heartwarming characters in their Christmas shows, as well as getting to show my diversity as an actor playing action characters for Halloween. I have been so blessed with all of that being my first experience in the industry and now that I’m home back in Australia I am so excited to share my passion on home soil! Mrs Doubtfire was not unknown in my house, an absolute comfort movie for my family and I, and I truly believe Robin Williams inspired me with his humour and shining light in dark times. One unique thing about me is that I got my start in the dance world through Line Dancing. I think my parents still wonder where my love of theatre came from when I was Heel and Toe-ing to Country music for majority of my childhood!
