Cosima Gilbert

Cosima Gilbert (She/Her) is a 2025 graduate from The Bachelor of Fine Arts (Theatre) from the VCA. In 2024, Cosima cofounded Barkly Theatre Company, and made her directorial debut, directing Romeo and Juliet (Barkly Theatre, 2024). She has been performing professionally from a young age with credits including: ‘Sam’ Shit (Barkly Theatre, 2025), Ismenia (Guild Theatre, 2025), Aliens Are Real (MUSE, VCA, 2025), The End Is Never The (VCA, 2025), Phases (Alter State Festival, 2024), Picnic At Hanging Rock (Barkly Theatre Company, 2024), Oh My God (MUSE, VCA, 2023), How To Save A Tree (MWT, Gasworks, 2023) Murder Mystery (State of Grace, 2023), Hostage (Fringe, 2022), The Best, The Fairest, The First (MWT, 2022), Saudade (VCA Short film, 2021), D-Baby (MC Showroom, 2019), Stark Dark Albert Park (Fringe, 2018), Tales from the Jetty (2022), Melbourne Monologues (2017, 2020), ‘Underground – The Julian Assange Story’ (Underground Productions, 2012) and ‘Predestination’ (Black Lab Entertainment, 2013).
