About
Ben Phazey is a British actor, originally from London and now based in Melbourne. His grounded screen presence and naturalistic style allow him to move comfortably between romantic and leading man roles, emotionally complex dramatic characters and darker, more unpredictable parts. With features that can comfortably read British, European and Mediterranean, Ben brings flexibility to a broad range of contemporary and period casting opportunities. He also brings a dry British wit and understated comic instinct, giving him range across drama, comedy and character led storytelling. Ben has built a strong professional foundation in theatre with credits including Leading Roles St Ives at Lighthouse Theatre (Kevin Elyot Award & Lighthouse Poole Award) Dungeness at Theatre Royal Stratford East alongside Let Kilburn Shake at Kiln Theatre. His training includes BA Hons Acting at Goldsmith University of London, NYT, NYFA and further workshopping with Tobey Clark at Oval House Theatre and Ian Sinclair 16th Street. Now based in Australia, Ben is developing his screen and stage career across both Australian and UK markets, bringing an authentic British identity, Australian experience and a mature perspective to his work.
