Belinda Burton

After past performances such as Glinda (US) and Ensemble in Wicked, Cosette and Fantine in Les Miserables, and Hope Cladwell in Urinetown:the Musical, there may appear to be an intermission in Belinda’s performance credits as of late. But fear not! She has merely been starring in the role of a lifetime: ‘Motherhood’ – a demanding production featuring live entertainment, chauffeur services, snack distribution, and crisis management, performed for three glorious(ly wild) children. She is delighted to be stepping back onto the stage, with high hopes that the costumes will be less sticky and the applause considerably more reliable. Never a stranger to the thrill of the juggle, Belinda is also a physiotherapist with a special interest in Women’s Health and Dance Physiotherapy. She also had the pleasure of working with Performance Medicine as the cast physio for professional touring musical theatre productions (including Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, 9-5, Come from Away, Chicago, Shrek the Musical, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Chicago, Muriel’s Wedding, Puffs, Les Miserables and Wicked) in Brisbane over the past 8 years.
