Alana Tranter

Alana graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts in 2011 with a Bachelor of Music Theatre. Most recently she played ‘Madame’ - The Wardrobe in Disney's Beauty and the Beast for the entire Australian tour and Singapore season. Alana is passionate about new Australian work and has been fortunate enough to be a part of the original casts for Georgy Girl – The Seekers Musical, DreamSong for Melbourne Comedy Festival and NED – A New Australian Musical playing the role of ‘Maggie Kelly’, as well as being involved in Sydney Theatre Company’s workshop of Muriel’s Wedding The Musical. Other theatre credits include ‘Standby/Dance Captain’ on the original Australian Tour of Come From Away, ’Ernestina’ in Hello Dolly for The Production Company, ‘Keren’ in David Williamson’s Third World Blues, ‘Sonia’ in They’re playing our Song and lead vocalist in California Dreaming – the Music of the Mamas and The Papas.
